For a long time I have received requests for this class: work an entire sweater from the non-public side out (“wrong side out” or inside out). Of course that the public side is subjective and totally up to you, but here we are talking about the conventional Stocking Stitch sweater. What could be the advantage? You may ask. Well, for Portuguese Knitters the purl stitch is easier. I teach that in all my classes and you heard me say this a million times. That will be always a small percentage of Portuguese Knitters that will disagree or feel indifferent to it. Let’s apply to the majority.
In this class you are going to work this baby sweater from the neck down, starting with the Portuguese Cast on at the neck, work four lines of increases on the yoke, work stranded knitting patterns on the yoke, separate the body and sleeve stitches and work to the cuffs and edge of the sweater (which includes decreases on the purl side).
