Double Knitting Portuguese Style

For a long time I have been receiving requests from my students to teach a class in Double Knitting using the Portuguese Style Method. If you use English or Continental Style, you are producing the same fabric, but it might be a little more complicated to do it with the yarns twisting and extra maneuvering of your hands.

Please keep in mind that this class does not intend to teach you all about the technique of Double Knitting, but to show you HOW to do Double Knitting with the Portuguese Method.

We are going to cover:

Double Knitting Flat with one color and two colors, Cast Ons and Bind Offs, Increases and Decreases, Double Knitting Circularly with one color and two colors, and double-side fabrics. I hope you enjoy the class, and I inspire you to use and create your own projects.
